Regency mahogany writing table

A handsome Regency period mahogany writing table; the leathered writing surface crossbanded in mahogany above three deep drawers to one side which are veneered in highly figured mahogany and with blind drawers to the other sides; raised on turned and reeded legs which terminate in the original brass cap castors.

This lovely writing table or desk has been designed with practicality and elegance in mind. There is good clearance under the drawers so the desk is very comfortable to sit at and use. The deep drawers offer plenty of storage for paperwork etc. and the blind drawers create an elegant design and enables the desk to be displayed in the middle of a room.
