About Us

Founded over 35 years ago, Reindeer Antiques is one of London’s leading specialists in English antique furniture.

Reindeer is owned by Peter Alexander who has brought his lifelong passion for antique furniture to the business, enhancing Reindeer's reputation for quality by focusing on pieces which are unique due to their design and patination.

As an undergraduate, Peter studied art history at St. Andrew's University under the inspiring tutelage of Professor David Jones who first encouraged him to pursue his interests in English furniture.  Peter loves to share his extensive knowledge with his clientele and has built a reputation for trust and integrity with his loyal client list of collectors and interior designers.

Reindeer are sole retailer of Tottering by Gently prints in London and Peter collaborates closely with specialist print dealers Isaac and Ede, Jason Sandeberg who specialises in antique silver and Susan Deliss who creates beautiful fabrics, cushions and lampshades. He is a member of The British Antique Dealers' Association and can often be seen walking the streets of Kensington accompanied by Herbie and Holly, his faithful border terriers.

Our extensive showrooms are situated on Kensington Church Street, London's premier street for antique shopping and display our collection of antique town and country furniture mixed with antique prints, carpets and silver. We look forward to giving you a warm welcome at our gallery.
