A Georgian reverse glass mezzotint print by John Faber Jr. (1694-1756) after the painting by Hans Hysing (1678-1752).
Princess Caroline Elizabeth (1713-1757) was the third daughter of George II. Born in Hanover she moved to England when her grandfather George I ascended to the British throne. After the death of Queen Caroline in 1737 she took on the upbringing of her sisters Mary and Louisa.
