Provenance
Edwin Meadows was the son of the painter James Meadows senior.
Meadows toured throughout Great Britain especially the Southern coast to seek inspiration for his painting.
He exhibited at many of the major galleries including the Royal Academy (1854-1872) and the Royal Society of British Artists.
