George II carved mahogany side chair
A George II carved mahogany side chair; the top railed carved with acanthus leaves to the ears above a pierced and interlaced splat and a stuff-over seat upholstered in dark green horse hair fabric; raised on bold cabriole legs which are acanthus carved to the knee and terminate in claw and ball feet. This chair is made from beautifully figured mahogany and the design of the chair's legs is particularly sophisticated.
