Antique Westmorland Coffer
A mid 17th Century carved oak Westmorland coffer; the panelled top which opens to reveal the original candle box above a lunette carved frieze and fielded panels carved with scrolling rosettes and carved acanthus leaves; raised on stile feet and retaining an excellent slightly faded colour.
