Nineteenth Century Carved Oak Coat Of Arms
A 19th Century continental coat of arms crisply carved from oak; a pair of coats of arms set within an acanthus wreath; the left shield emblazoned with an apple tree entwined with a snake with a winged helm and an apple tree and snake crest; the right shield emblazoned with an arrow with a winged helm and an archer crest.
Probably commissioned to celebrate a marriage.
