Almost everyone in the antiques trade was suprised by the demise of the Grosvenor House Fair. It was the highlight of the year and the standard that many aspired to reach. It was the costs of the venue which have caused this sudden announcement rather than an ailing industry.

So the big question is will anything emerge to replace it? With David Lester coming in to manage the Summer Olympia Fair it is all change for the summer antiques season.
