Writing Tables
A writing table is a desk with legs rather than pedestals. The top is usually leathered with drawers in the frieze with larger writing tables having drawers to the front and back. Writing tables from the Sheraton period have elegant square tapering legs and Regency tables have chunkier, turned legs.
