A rare George III Chippendale period mahogany kettlestand; the beautifully figured square top with a wavy gallery and raised on a turned stem which terminates in cabriole legs with pad feet. 

This Georgian kettlestand retains its original wavy gallery which is beaufitully made in laminated sections of ebony, boxwood and mahogany. The stem and legs are made from very fine, dense Cuban mahogany which retains a wonderul colour and patination.

The kettlestand is rare for an antique tripod table in being the perfect height to put a drink beside an armchair.
