Large Nineteenth Century toleware coal bin
A large early Nineteenth Century toleware penumbier (coal/log bin); decorated throughout in toleware to imitate Japanese lacquer and with a scrolling handle to the removable lid and scrolling carrying handles to the sides. The tole decoration has survived in remarkably untouched condition.
