A reverse glass print of HMS Majestic, a seventy four gun battleship presented in a contemporary mahogany frame.
HMS Majestic was launched on 11th December, 1785 at Deptford. She fought at the Battle of the Nile,1798 under the command of Captain George Blagdon Westcott who was killed during the battle. In 1807 she served as the flagship of Admiral Thomas Macnamara Russell while he oversaw the capture of Heligoland from the Danish. She was then broken up after a stranding in 1816.
