A Fine Early 19th Century Rosewood Veneered and Ormolu Mounted Side Cabinet
The well figured top with a ribbon and flower moulding in ormolu to the edge above a frieze centred by an ormolu spray of flowers; below are a pair of arch panelled doors which have scrolling acanthus mounts in ormolu to the spandrels, standing on a plinth base. This cabinet is in a beautifully untouched condition with the ormolu mounts retaining their original gilding and provides a strong contrast with the dark rosewood veneers.
