Paintings and Prints

We always have a wide selection of prints and paintings available at the shop featuring a variety of subjects in various media. Currently, we have a small collection of reverse glass prints; a unique 18th century technique of printing a mezzotint onto glass and painting onto the printed image to give the effect of an oil  painting. From the nineteenth century, we have a beautiful pair of Chinese export watercolours of fishing boats. For more contemporary work, we have a series of comic prints by John Patrick Reynolds featuring well-known characters such as Dennis the Menace, Asterix, and Popeye.
