A handsome George II carved giltwood mirror; the later mirror plate set within a giltwood frame with a egg and dart moulded swan neck pediment centred by a cartouche carved with acanthus leaves; the shaped apron centred with a scallop shell.
The clean, elegant lines of this pier glass are perfect for a traditional or contemporary interior. The Georgian mirror has a lovely architectural design and the decoration is beautifully carved into the gesso.
