Antique Corner Cupboards
Corner cupboards can be small and wall hanging or large and floor standing, but they are always practical for creating additional storage without taking up too much space. An invention of the 17th century, corner cupboards were originally used for storing china, and glazed front cupboards became especially popular for displaying precious objects. Since the 17th century they have been made with oak in the Carolean period, mahogany in the Chippendale, and rosewood in the Regency. They are a unique and versatile addition to any interior.
