Chippendale period mahogany open wine cooler
A George III Chippendale period open wine cooler; veneered in well figured Cuban mahogany with canted corners and brass carrying handles to either end, raised on square legs with fretwork corner brackets.
This antique wine cooler has everything I look for in an antique piece of furniture. It is made from beautifully figured Cuban mahogany which has acquired a wonderful colour and patination through centuries of use. The handles are original and I love the chamfered corners.
This wine cooler could be used for its original purpose but it would make a great planter too It is for sale at our London showrooms and we ship worldwide.
