Reindeer Antiques Ltd

This month we are delighted to highlight some pieces that would enhance any library or study.

I am writing this while sitting in the Chippendale Gainsborough armchair which is extremely comfortable. The acanthus and blind fret carving is crisply executed and the mahogany showwood has a superb patination. It is the perfect chair for reading a book or browsing the web on your ipad.

The breakfront bookcase is a superb Regency example with beautifully chosen mahogany veneers and elegant proportions with its relatively low waist.

I will shortly be emailing you an invitation for our Christmas exhibition Eat Drink and be Merry which seeks to bring back a sense of occassion to entertaining in the modern home. It will feature our own furniture, beautiful silver and an intriguing collection of Georgian caricatures. If you would like a preview invitation for 25th November please email me at london@reindeerantiques.co.uk.
