When we are selecting new pieces one of our key questions is regarding the colour and patination of an antique. A good colour and patination makes an antique unique and greatly increases its desirability. It is also a very good indicator of originality and many collectors will only buy pieces with an untouched colour and patina.

For more hints on what to look for when considering colour and patination please take a look at our blog posting.

All the pieces illustrated below are excellent examples of colour and patination.

If you are in London for Masterpiece this week we are merely a 10 minute taxi ride away and it will be a pleasure to see you. Alternatively please take a look at our recently updated website: www.reindeerantiques.co.uk
