A mid Nineteenth Century Grand Tour bronze equestrian sculpture of Colleoni after the original by Verrocchio.
The original sculpture of Colleoni by Verrocchio is in Venice. Colleoni was a condotierre who led the Venetian forces as Captain-General during the early 15th Century. It is considered to be one of the most important equestrian sculptures of the Renaissance period.
