An unusual George III Chippendale period mahogany tea table; the top constructed from beautifully figured flame mahogany is carved with a running flower moulding to the edge and opens to reveal book matched flame mahogany above a frieze which unusually has fretwork running along its bottom edge; raised on square legs which are carved to their outer edge and retain their original fretwork corner brackets.
