A magnificent pair of Regency period Old Sheffield Plate candelabra attributed to the Matthew Boulton Plate Company. The candelabra's round pedestal bases with robust robing and fluting and with acanthus leaf decoration to the stem and elegantly outcrolling candle arms. All the sconces and snuffers are original, the storm glass is replaced.These three-light candelabra of unusually large scale and are identical in design to examples that bare Boulton's famous double sunburst mark and are in exceptional conditon.
